Routing To A Specific Host

HI I have a 3550  routing for several vlans I want to know if you can route to a single device instead of the entire network

like ip route 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.100

instead of 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.100

i know the first route statement wont work but im looking for something lie that if possible.

Hi,

 

To route a single host just fix the mask to a full 32 bits :-

ip route 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.255 192.168.10.100
