I have a remote site with a Cisco 2620XM (soon to be upgraded) running IOS 12.3(19). This unit is configured with the "dual power supply" option being feed power by an RPS 600.
While the RPS 600 lights all are green, the 2620XM logs report the following error:
*Jun 12 01:57:13.816: %RPS-3-INPUTVOLTFAIL: System detected Redundant Power System Input Voltage failure condition.
The SHOW ENVIRONMENT command produces this result:
Power Supply:
Redundant Power System is present.
Thermal status: normal
Input Voltage status: Warning - failure
DC Output Voltage status: normal
Since the RPS is unmanaged, and because of the error being reported on the 2620XM, can I assume I have a bad RPS (even though the lights are green)?
Is there any way to troubleshoot this without taking down the router (its about 800 miles away)?
Thanks for your help!
