hi all;

i want to ask if 4006 switch support rspan (remote span ) or not.

For your information its contain sup III and IOS software

Yes, it should support RSPAN. What is the IOS you are running. Please paste the show version from the switch.

Hi ,

It supports RSPAN.If possible can you paste the CatOS and IOS which you are using in 4006 switch.

Hi

I don't think your IOS supports rspan. From the config doc for your IOS they only talk about span:-

It looks like you need 12.1(20)EW as a minimum. The best thing to do is check on software advisor which is a Cisco tool

i checked it on the software advisor bu it give the following nessege:

Remote SPAN (RSPAN) Support for source and destination SPAN ports located on other compatible switches

for your knowledge the 4006 consist supIII engine
