I am guessing the answer to my question is gonna be NO, so what I am looking to do is supply the IP of tfpt server via DHCP option.
I am using RV082 as my DHCP server, which has very limited options in DHCP configuration (like any other router)
Do you think Cisco can implement this feature via a firmware update? Do I have any other options to supply option 150 to my DHCP clients without installing windows server?
Cisco IOS routers, like 871 or 891, does support option 150.
You can configure option 150 under DHCP POOL configure on IOS.
R2(dhcp-config)#option 150 ip ?
Hostname or A.B.C.D Server's name or IP address
