SA520W - inter vlan routing not working

I have setup a separate vlan on the router and enabled intervlan routing.

Currently default vlan 1 - 192.168.11.0 /24 Gw 192.168.11.1

And setup vlan 10 - 192.168.10.0 /24 Gw 192.168.10.254

Setup port mode to general and bonded vlan 1 and 10 to port 1

I can ping the vlan 10 gateway 192.168.10.254. From a workstation in vlan1

I setup my laptop to ip address 192.168.10.10 and to the gateway of the subnet

I cannot ping the laptop ip. From a workstation on vlan1 I get a destination host unreachable.

Funny thing is I cannot ping the Gw 192.168.10.254 from the laptop setup on that network.

Am I missing something. I connected all devices directly to the router LAN ports.

Anyone have an idea of what's up.
