samples for redundant trunks on Catalyst 3750 & 3560

Hi,

I've setup a 3750 & 3560 with one "switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q" on port 24 for both Catalyst.

And I'd like to have a redundant trunk to backup this in case of cable or port failure on this.

Hope someone can provide some samples of the Catalyst config for this.

Thanks.

Re: samples for redundant trunks on Catalyst 3750 & 3560

Hi,

Just config the two ports as an etherchannel, this way if one port goes down you will have second link take over with no downtime.

Guide for configuring etherchannel;
