Hello,

Is it possible to schedule a router to reload every Saturday at midnight using the CLI and not a 3rd party product?

Many thanks

Hi Andy

DO you want to reload every week, or just schedule it once ?

Try this command:

reload [[warm] [/verify | /noverify] text | [warm] [/verify | /noverify] in [hh:]mm [text] | [warm] [/verify | /noverify] at hh:mm [month day | day month] [text] | [warm] [/verify | /noverify] cancel]

you need to look at the local clock, and use that for reloading this router.... you can cancel reload whenever you want.

Hope this helps..All the best..

Raj

Thanks, yes it would be every Saturday.

Sure.. just check if your IOS supports the above command.. and you can then try..

im curious to know why you would reboot a router every saturday ?

Thanks, it's a bad DSL line, for some reason it works so much better after I shutdown the atm interface and bring it back up.  If if the line has been up ages it's as if it gets very stale or sluggish.
