If you want to read the contents of the SEA (System Event Archive) file use the following syntax:

Router#show logging system disk sup-bootflash:sea_log.dat

Question1 : What s that file in sup-bootfl.

System Event Archive (SEA) is a logging feature that allows all the modules in the system to report major and critical events to active SP and the active SP will log these events to non-volatile storage.

SEA can help debug customer issues without reproducing the problem ( like a black box ).

SEA ok ! How do I do do read it ?

Some one already responded regarding that.

What happens if his size is GT than sup-bootflash , or EQ ? GT seems to be more ...

System event archive can only grow to 10% of whichever file system / storage is being used to store the SEA upto a maximum of 32 MB.

Thanks

Salman.
