Server Load Balancing (SLB) based on Ports

Hello all

I want to enable SLB based on ports. That is single server (IP) listening by 3 ports. Does SLB is able to balance 3 applications (by different ports) running in a single sever? Does the SLB consider a server farm single server listening by different ports? (8080, 8081, 8082)

Proposed configuration

ip slb serverfarm FARM2

real 10.4.1.1 port 8080

reassign 2

faildetect numconns 4

retry 20

inservice

real 10.4.1.1 port 8081

reassign 2

faildetect numconns 4

retry 20

inservice

real 10.4.1.1 port 8082

reassign 2

faildetect numconns 4

retry 20

inservice

ip slb vserver HTTP2

virtual 128.4.0.1 tcp www

serverfarm FARM2

idle 120

delay 5

inservice

Re: Server Load Balancing (SLB) based on Ports

Your configuration will works fine. Yes the SLB consider a server farm single server listening by different ports (8080, 8081, 8082)
