Hi, we are designing a small project and we have the following:
MDF 3 SFE2010P stacked
IDF1 1 SFE2010P
IDF2 2 SFE2010P stacked
IDF3 1 SFE2010
IDF1 is about 150ft from the MDF and IDF3 is around 120ft from IDF2, the question would be, if we can stack the lone switch in IDF1 with the stack on MDF and the lone switch on IDF3 with the stack in IDF2?
If so we would only need to send fiber to the stacks in MDF and IDF2? Otherwise we would need to send fiber to all 4 sites
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
