SFP-10G-LRM and X2-10G-LRM Compatible?

Can I have a switch uplink with a SFP-10G-LRM(Plugged into a 3560 with a c3kx-nm-10g card) at one end and X2-10G-LRM( Plugged inot a Catalyst 4500 E ) at the other. I am using OM3 MMF

I know they both use 1310-nm wavelengths

Both I was unsure if they use the same IEEE standard

Should work.  That's what I am using.

Yup. I did almost exactly that when linking a Nexus 7K to a bunch of 4948-10G - one end of the fibre was a SFP and the other was an X2 - you only need to make sure the patch leads are right, and the light goes in and out the correct sides of the patch.

Cheers.
