'sh cdp ne' - Learning neighbors

3560-48PS (MechEng_PGrad_(A) switch is connected to the below switches using interfaces 0/46-49. All links are dot1q trunk links.

Basically from the output 'show cdp ne' on this switch, this displays switches which are not neighbors on this switch.

All "learned" links are ISL trunk links on the 6509 switch!

Please advise

3560-48PS (MechEng_PGrad_(A)

Re: 'sh cdp ne' - Learning neighbors

The 3560 switch is connected to some kind of Metro-Ethernet service on port 49? If so, the behavior is expected as many switches will participate in the same Vlan hence seeing each other via Layer2.
