my cisco 3745 shows following output when done 'sho version'... this is part of the whole output....
==>
DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity disabled.
151K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
31744K bytes of ATA System CompactFlash (Read/Write)
<==
Does that show that the router's flash can be increased using a separate flash card or a new card of capacity more than present card.....?

HI Gaurav, [Pls Rate if HELPS]
If you are going to Upgrade the Router with New Verion of IOS Software which is larger in Size where the current FLASH Card is not compatible enough, the only Option is to replace the FLASH Card as "new" with higher capacity.
Hope I am Informative.
Pls RATE if HELPS
