i have question should we enable CEF or fast switching on tunnel interfaces of router

Hi, Cisco document reccommended that you can use CEF on your tunnel interfaces, you can verify CEF with this command "router#show cef interface fastEthernet 0/0/0'

this improved switching performance because only the destination mac-address is read and the packet is forwarded. have a look at the documents below for details. HTH
