Show interface on a WSx4232-L3

Hello All...

I'm hoping this is an easy one. I have a WSx4232-L3, been in place for ever and I'm trying to get an output similar to this (below) to find out what ports have been used lately (trying to clean up).

This output is just a show interface on a 2924cxl

FastEthernet0/4 is down, line protocol is down
Hardware is Fast Ethernet, address is 0030.8021.0644 (bia 0030.8021.0644)
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 0 Kbit, DLY 0 usec,
     reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
  Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
  Keepalive not set
  Auto-duplex , Auto Speed , 100BaseTX/FX
ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
Last input never, output 5d17h, output hang never
Last clearing of "show interface" counters never

So far all I can find is a show port counters which is not great...

Card is in a WS-C4006 Software, Version NmpSW: 6.3(5)

Thank you

Re: Show interface on a WSx4232-L3

Hello Paul,

the WS-X4232-L3 is a routing engine for C4000.

if the device is performing multilayer switching the stats will be not accurate: that is it should provide you stats only of packets processed by it not the whole traffic processed by L2 supervisor with the assistance of the routing engine.

see the architecture overview

I see it has also 32 FE ports you may need to access the module and then you can type sh int fasX

Hope to help
