I picked up an SLM2048 switch from craigs for cheap. It was indicated that it was having issues and wasn't working properly and I figured I'd try and fix it as a project...
As far as I can tell it's stuck in the system check at boot (the SYSTEM LED flashes green constantly) holding the reset in doesn't bring it up to factory defaults and I have no idea what IP it's configured for - not that it matters it won't load the firmware anyways.
My question is there a way to force it into a recovery mode? I know with some of the home models of the Linksys (this switch is Linksys) that you can short a pin on the chip and it goes into a mode where you can TFTP firmware and restore that way, my question is there any workaround like that for this model?
