SNMP access list

Good afternoon, gents!

I am configuring snmp on my 3750 switches. When i apply access list with my snmp host ip address, this host can not reach the switch. If i remove access list or allow any host to connect (permit any) it works fine.

I even tried to delete all access list and snmp configuration and reconfigure it again - nothing changed. Tried to change access list number - same problem.

There are no hits in the access list also.

access-list 90 permit 192.168.1.27

snmp-server community <snmpcommstring> RO 90

snmp-server host 192.168.1.27 <snmpcommstring>

Thank you in advance!

This my be a really stupid question, but the device you are coming from is sourcing it's SNMP requests from that IP isn't it?

Add a log entry to the permit any and see what IP gets a hit.

That was not "a really stupid question", my friend ))))) As it turned out, there were 2 ethernet interfaces on my snmp server ))))) The guy who was in charge of merging them into etherchannel forgot about it!

Thank you very much!
