snmp monitoring on internet router

Hi all, if I want to momnitor my internet router behind my firewall, firstly, what do i need to do, do I need to put an access list on the router allowing connections sourced from the firewall for snmp, and second to I need to set up port forwarding on my firewall to my internal snmp monitoring equipment ?

cheers

Re: snmp monitoring on internet router

NetFlow is a technology that provides highly granular per-flow statistics on traffic in a Cisco router. The NetFlow MIB feature provides MIB objects to allow users to configure NetFlow and to monitor flow cache information, the current NetFlow configuration, and statistics.
