Spanning-tree at vlan priority level

Hi have two distribution switches and have priorites set for different vlans e.g mt_cs_1 will have spanning-tree vlan

1,3,7,9,11,13,15,17,21,50-51,53 priority 8192 and mt_cs_2 will have spanning-tree vlan2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,32,52,114 priority 8192 configured.

On switch 20_s_1 20_s_2 and 20_s_3 about 70% are vlan 20 and the rest are differnt vlans i.e 50,51,52,53. GI have worked out the route that vlan 20 takes to get to its destination, but how do i know it is the best route. Not sure if i have a spanning tree issuse as the network can slow down time to time. In the diagram where the switches are connected in 3's these are joined in a giagstack half duplex. On the 20th floor switches i recently changed the gigastack to gigbic fibre and awaiting to see if i recieve any colliusion. Please help and point me in the correct direction
