Hi All

I need to configure spantree portfast and broadcast storms on all the interfaces on a live production switch. Can I do this on a production switch during production hours without impact to connecting users?

Thanks

When you enable this on each port, it will reset the port. This takes like 2 seconds. Users will get a reset popup.

Configuring portfast on an operational port should have no effect. In fact, portfast only does something when the link is coming up. Once a link is up, portfast does not change much to the operational state (it just prevents the transmission of TC indication on the port).

Francois
