You would not really find the SSH configuration guide for a specific product.

During configuration of SSH on 4500 will it impact any connected Servers or VLANS.

I mean anyone will get disconnect.

Its a production BOX.

Just enabling SSH on the 4500 would not impact any connected server or VLANs. If you start to change access privileges (to require SSH and not telnet, etc) then there is possibility of affecting other devices.

Hi,

Hi,

We have two cisco catalyst 4500 L3 switch (cat4500e) and running version 15.2(2)E5a.

We are not able to configure ssh on this switch, ssh commands not supported and transport input ssh command also not working.

Any way is there for ssh on 4500e and why command is not working.

IOS- cat4500e-ipbase-mz.152-2

IOS- cat4500e-ipbase-mz.152-2.E5a.bin

ssh command is not working in this IOS...

if you know the way to configure ssh on 4500e please tell me

You need an image with k9 in

You need an image with k9 in its name, for example cat4500e-ipbasek9-mz.152-2.E5a.bin.
