Hello,
During an IOS upgrade (non K9 to K9 version) on a stack, if the stack master is upgraded, I understand it will push that IOS upgrade automatically to the other stack members via the "auto-upgrade" option. This is enabled by default.
If the stack master is a different sub model, a 3750-12S, and the rest of the stack is all 3750G-24PS, will the same auto-upgrade apply w/o incident?
thanks!

1. Disconnect all the stackwise cables and bring each of them up individually.
2. Try deleting the old image if you have not already done so from each switch.
3. Erase config and bring them up individually one more time.
4. Connect stackwise cables and bring them up together.
5. TFTP config back on.

Thanks for the replies. I had since found the procedure to be quite easy (at least using Ciscoworks RME). Loading up the .tar version of the IOS image to the stack master, the stack members were automatically upgraded. The only thing that didn't work was the auto-reboot to finish the boot load (for some reason).
