How to make a cisco switch to support stack.

Please help me in this.

Can you elaborate further. 

Cisco Catalyst switches supporting stacking are: 

• 3750/G/E/X; 
• 2975;
• 2960S/X/XR;
• 3650; and 
• 3850

Cisco Catalyst switches supporting VSS are: 

• 6500E with VS-Sup720 or VS-Sup2T; 
• 6800-X/6807-X;
• 4500R(+E) with Sup7 or Sup8; and
• 4500X

BY default switches support stack or we need to configure certain CLI s to make that switch to support stack?????
