Stack Switch troublshoot

Hi

I have a stack switch with 8 switches 3750 and one of stack member be restarted!

this happen several times

what is reason this problem?

yes I need to find out restarting switch reason!

Could you please send me the show tech output from the system and also the crash info?

Hi Masoud,

You have to find out there is any hardware related issue on the particular switch such as loopback failure, fan failure and etc. temporarily remove the particular switch from the stack and reboot the switch and see the switch loading over the console.

before that,just try this command in the stack

show environment all.

this command will tell you if you have any hardware issue

 

Hi jayaratnam,

I checked fan, power and temperature of all switch. all of theme is ok.

all switch have 1 power and did not used power sharing mode that is in stand alone mode!

the switch that  was restarted have lowest priority in stack!

In your opinion if I use power sharing mode on stack with stack power cable this problem can be solved!
