Stacking 3750 switches port numbering

HOW Master switches in stack numbering the port? is it based on priority ?

anybody can give explanation for this .. I would be grateful to you

Your master switch port numbering will be 1/0/1-48, the next switch in the stack will be 2/0/1-48 and the third 3/0/1-48 and so on.

Hopefully you should see a pattern emerging here..

The above assumes that your switches are the 48 port variety

The switch stack numbering are based on priority (which you can alter)
