Stacking with Switch 3850

Hello every body,

I need a clarification. we have 2 new stackable switchs 3850 and i get following output of the cmd "sh switch":

158-Core1-Noris#sh switch

Switch/Stack Mac Address : f84f.5759.3480 - Local Mac Address

Mac persistency wait time: Indefinite

                                                                    H/W       Current

Switch#   Role        Mac Address       Priority   Version    State

------------------------------------------------------------

*1           Active      f84f.5759.3480      10         V01         Ready

2           Standby   189c.5de2.d380     5          V02         Ready

Should the values on the column "H/W Version" be identical??

Thx

Mourad

Hello Mourad,This is nothing

Hello Mourad,

This is nothing to worry about, purely cosmetic.  This question actually comes up often.  When you upgrade to 3.X, you will actually see this value change due to bug CSCun59702.  These values do not affect the performance or interoperability of the switches in any way.
