Stackmgr stack link change

Hello,

Two of my 3750 switches in a stack are logging a lot of stack linke changes. Is this due to a faulty cable/port? If I change the cable and it persists, what would be the next step?

Thank you

Chris

Re: Stackmgr stack link change

Per Cisco:

make sure there is no external pressure on the cables. Cabinet enclosure might be compressing the cable.

Make sure the cables are properly seated and secured.

Make sure you have the right length cables.

Check for proper grounding of rack/cabinet.

When powering the stack start with master then follow sequentially.

We have had limited sucess with this issue.

We have had instances where we have changed switches to resolve the issue.
