I have a Verizon FIOS connection with 5 public, static IP addresses.
Currently: I use one public static IP address for the office LAN users. I then have Static NAT mappings to take the other four public static IPs to LAN static IPs (servers).
We are looking to use the WRVS4400N to gain VPN access to the office. Only issue I see in setting this up is the lack of a Static NAT function. Currenly I am running in gateway mode and everything is fine except I can not map the four public static IPs to the four LAN static IPs (servers).
How can I configure the WRVS4400N to provide the same function as I currently have?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
