Static route disappearing from route table

I have a client that has router which has some static routes that are disappearing from the route table. The links are still up and the next hop is still pingable so the route should not be disssapearing. Does anyone have any ideas ?

Can you post out the configuration and also the output of show ip route taken out from the router ?

Have you set a metric for the static route? Is there a more specific route in the table?

The packets that were using the static routes started using the default route, so there was not a more specific network. There are no metrics set on the static routes.

Do you mean the packet use default route instead of the static route ? Please post the config. Is the static route pointing to the next-hop instead of a remote IP ?

Please also provide the trace route result of the next-hop of this static route.
