Static route VRF question

Hello,

I'm testing VRF on my GNS3 lab, the following simple diagram is the OSPF within VRF that with static router :

R1 (Static route to R2) --- R2 (ospf (VRF) redistribute static route, the static route to R1) --- Frame Relay --- R3 (ospf (VRF) redistribute static route, the static route to R4) --- R4 (Static route to R3)

My question is can both R1 and R4 static route no need to configure VRF ?

Thanks

Static route VRF question

Hi,

VTF Lite is locally significant; so yes, you can route (staticly or dynamicly) between the global routing context of one router and a VRF of another, when both are connected by a common link.
