STP blocking fastethernet ports on CE500's

Hey there all. I hope someone can help, We are at our wits end...

We have installed a few CE500's with the view to deploying a Wireless network. we currently have 1 ce500 in each hub, and in the initial installation we have 1 building with 3 hubs in it... Initially we have all three CE500s Fastethernet ports set to AP under smartports. After connecting the AP's to the Switches two of the hubs worth of AP's connect okay.

The third hub, which is in the centre of the building, doesn't co operate? All active ports go into 'Port Fa2: This port is blocked by Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).' Why?

Also, everytime the switch reboots, it looses its Time/Date settings? Any way NTP can be setup? Also no radius/Tacacs+ provision?

It seems as though Cisco has taken a few backward steps with this incarnation, especially with the lack of cli?

What is connected to fa2.If there is a STP loop in the network tehn this port will go in the blocking state.Please describe your topology possibly using the links in a detailed diagram

Connected to Fa1 - Fa11 are 11 Trapeze Mobility Points (Access Points). There are no wired Spanning tree loops.

Hi Simon

I want to know that ur ports connected to AP are configured Smartport Role:Access Points and the port connected to Switch is configured Martport Role:Switch

If not then do the same

Yes ports connected to APs are under smartport role AP... and gigabit ports are set to smartport role switch

We have got another CE500 from our stores, given it one vlan with a management IP address... one mobility point connected to a fa port set to AP under smartports.

Still, keeps getting blocked by spanning tree...

An idea... is the spanning-tree pass trough the Wifi and then bloc the port when the Cisco CE500 see bpdu from the AP... connect to him ?

yes, STP blocks an alternate port as a result of receiving bpdus from a designated bridge. Get the id of the bridge and the port originating this bpdu from the output of CE500 (I don't know the user interface). That should tell you why this port is blocking.
