Hi Experts,

In cisco 4000, 5000, 6000 switches the STP is configured by default or we need to enable manually.

If we need to do manually what are the steps and commands can anybody give.

If you would just connect all the switches together with default settings, STP will converge. So yes, it is automatic.

But watch out for the size of your broadcast domain. You shouldn't have more than 200 endpoints per VLAN.
