Strange behavior on 3550; vlan doesn't get created

Hi, I am wondering what's wrong:

On my 3550, I created VLAN 10 successfully. However, I attempt to create other vlans and 'show vlan' shows no vlan besides vlan 10 gets created. Please clarify if you have ever seen such a thing and how I can solve this ?

Output is attached.

I noticed you are using VLAN Database. Your changes will not get applied if using VLAN Database if you do not type "exit" or "apply". If you Ctrl_Z, etc out of VLAN Database your changes will be null.

Try going into the interface you wish to assign to VLAN 20 and type "switchport access vlan 20". This should create the VLAN for you.

You are right. That's it. Thanks a lot, Adam.

No problem! Glad I could help this time around!

Interesting. I restarted the switch and now it works. Very interesting.
