Sup 2 error

Hi NetPro,

something need you guys to advice. i feel something wrong.

2008 Apr 22 06:39:24 GMT8 +08:00 %SYS-2-P2_CRIT: 1/Too many switching memory errors - about to reset the system.

2008 Apr 22 06:39:25 GMT8 +08:00 %SYS-2-P2_CRIT: 1/Switching memory errors detected. Use "show test switch-memory" to see test results

2008 Apr 22 06:39:25 GMT8 +08:00 %SYS-2-P2_CRIT: 1/Please replace the Supervisor as soon as possible

this switch suppose consider faulty . but some how i moved this sup engine to another spare switch .. it works perfectly. what is the problem does anyone knows this or experienced ?

Good question. Pulling the sup to put it in that other chassis might have cleared the hardware but it's possible that the error might return. With that error you should probably just call TAC to have the sup RMA'd.
