Sup 720 status LED

Hi friends,

There was a power down in the data center and after it was up, the status LED on the 720 sup showed the following:

1. On the first 6513 switch, Port 2 UTP link led showed amber for both active and standby supervisors.Nothing was connected to those ports.

2. On the second 6513 switch, Port

Port 1 and Port 2 link LED's showed amber for both active and standby supervisors. Nothing was connected to those ports.

Right now, everything is normal, but do these ambers indicate any problem.

Hi,

In according with http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080395a21.html the link is orange when "the link has been disabled by software".

You could try this: enable ports with no shutdown.
