SUP7L-E shared backplane mode?

Are there any plans to support a "shared backplane mode" like on SUP6-E that enables the use of four 10G oversubscripted uplink ports in redundant mode? now there is support for up to two active 10G links in redundant mode...

SUP7L-E shared backplane mode?

Sup 7L-E comes with 2 nonblocking 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks (SFP+) or 4 nonblocking 1 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks (SFP)

have a look at table 2 in this link:

Re: SUP7L-E shared backplane mode?

Hi,

Thanks for the answer...

My question points in the direction if maybe a shared backplane mode is planed for this supervisor card like it was with SUP6-E after a IOS upgrade...
