SVI Problem on C2901 with 2 HWIC 9ESW Cards

Hi,

I have a C2901 with 2 HWIC 9ESW cards and have a Vlan interface and set all interfaces on the ESW to the same VLAN.

Problem is only 1 HWIC 9ESW works the other card  brings up the port and can ping 2 laptops on the same subnet but not the SVI the ok HWIC I can ping the SVI

Puzzled!

Any one have any idea's?

What version of IOS are you running?

you need:

15.0(1)M: IP Base License of the Universal Image

I have the correct IOS , anyone know how to stack 2 ESW cards together on the same Router?

  I know in some of those cards you have to donate a port out of each card and physically tie them together to get everything to work correctly . You should be able to search that from the main cisco webpage.
