Why we need server Farm switch?all what i see in my life server connected directly to core?pls what is the pros and cons?

Hi Ibrahim,

The designs that you probably have seen is for small networks.  In larger networks, your data center switches provide different functionality.  For example most people use the 5K and/or 7K in the server farm, because they provide the capabilities of having unified fabrics.  In this case, you can connect your Servers, Storage, VMs etc...all to the same switches.
