Hello,

I have a Switch layer 3 working with no issues, I have a second switch that is a L2, and I need to connect it to the L3.

But I'm with problems with the configuration, can someone help me with the basic configuration?

Thanks.

Hi,

Whether it is L2 switch or L3 switch, physical port will always be either Trunk or Access port. Since you are connecting two switches, chances are there that you want to pass multiple vlans and it should be configured as trunk port. Configure both sides either as trunk or access port, link should come up and carry the vlan traffic.

Regards,

Akash

Akash,

I tried with
