Switch recommendation

We have Cisco Voip solution with 3560's POE Switches in our campus on 2 VLANS (Voice and Computers). We would like to add a single phone to our maintenance center but do not want to pay or need the 24 ports of the 3560's or the POE. We have a 6 Strand Fiber Connection to this site and are looking for switch recommendations for just 1 - 7940 phone with a power cube.

Ideas anyone?

there is a new 8 port 3560 which is pretty slick...i would suggest going wireless to this phone, but since you already have the fiber, i would have to agree with the fiber converter as the best solution. my $.02

thanks,

Why don't u just use Fibre-to-UTP converter to connect from your main campus to maintenance center 7940 phone?

You don't even need the switch in this case.

HTH.
