Hi, I'd like to understand when the operational mode results down in the output of "show interface switchport"

i.e.: trunk not reliased or line port protocol in down

thanks

Hi RS,

When you issue a command "sh int switchport" and you see operational mode down this is an indication that trunk operational status is down and the ports had not form a trunk.

It does not mean that line protocol is down.
