T1-CSU/DSU Configuration

Hi,

I need to configure 2 T1-CSU/DSU modules on a router and I need some assitance with the how to configure the interfaces. Protocol to be used is PPP.

I am not clear on which IP address to assign on the interface as I was provided with the following (not exact IPs) from the service provider:

WAN Link Details:

WAN Link IP Address: 64.12.59.91

AR Serial INT IP Address: 64.12.95.92

CR Serial INT IP Address: 64.12.95.93

WAN Link Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.252

WAN Link IP Address: 64.12.59.91

AR Serial INT IP Address: 64.12.95.92

CR Serial INT IP Address: 64.12.95.93

WAN Link Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.252

Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Hi:

What does AR and CR mean?

From th information youre giving, the serial interface on the router that will have the encapsulation set to PPP will have theIP address of 64.12.59.91 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.252

description WAN Interface

encapsulation PPP

ip address 64.12.59.91 255.255.255.252

no shutdown
