TCL interpreter in Cisco Switches

Hi,

I have one 3550 switch and i upgraded from 12.1 to 12.2(44)SE . But "tclsh" command is not enabled on this version. As per Cisco, 12.2(25)S is enough to enable TCL interpreter. Please let me know if you guys have answers.

Please post the show ver from this switch. I know tclsh is there in 12.2(44)SE advipservices.

I have a WS-C2960-24TT-L with the IOS c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6.bin which does not accept TCL either! Is it because of IOS version?

It's because of the platform.  You need a Catalyst 3K series switch for many of the embedded automation features.

Interestingly I have a WS-C2960-24LC-S with c2960-lanlitek9-mz.122-50.SE4.bin which is running TCL!!! I don't get it...

Sorry, I forgot they enabled tclsh in 12.2(50) on the 2960s.  Embedded Event Manager, on the other hand, is still not present on the 2K series.
