I'm looking at improving the speed and resilience of a 250+ user network with 10 servers. Everything is connected through 8 3com 4400 switches.
Can anyone recommend a switch that will allow the servers and either the current or new switches (possibly 2960s) to connect providing a gigabit backbone and any recommedations for resilience would also be welcome.

Cisco also provides you an interactive Cisco Catalyst Switch Solution Finder. This easy-to-use tool can help you identify the right Cisco Catalyst Switch to meet your networking requirements for campus, branch, and data center networks of all sizes.
