Teleconferance Issue

Hello All,

I am having a strange issue on VOIP teleconferance. VOIP teleconferance between different sites are not working.

I have logged a call with Vendor. I was told by Vendor to enable multicasting on edge router to get teleconferance work.

I am not an expert in VOIP. I am wondering why do we need to enable multicasting on edge router to get VOIP teleconferance work.

Can anybody throw their thoughts on this issue?
