I am having cisco 3750 switch, after config line vty (Telnet) in four stack all are working fine only one stack telnet is not working.

i am able to ping Mgmt vlan IP.

Switch telnet config is ....

username cisco privilege 15 password 0 cisco

vlan 1521

name MGMT_VLAN

Int vlan 1521

ip add 192.168.10.10 255.255.255.0

line con 0

password cisco

login local

line vty 0 4

exec-timeout 0 0

password cisco

login local

line vty 5 15

exec-timeout 0 0

password cisco

login local

I have tryed to remove exec-timeout command

type "no exec-timeout" ( but unable to remove, after "save" type  "show run" again exec-timeout 0 0 comes under line vty, even i have changed exec-timeout 3 0 but no luck )

Hi,

exec-timeout 0 0  and no exec-timeout have the same effect that is your sessions won't timeout under the lines.

It shouldn't prohibit you from telnetting into the device now if you issued no exec then you disabled access to the line( but it would show as no exec in the show run).

Regards

Alain
