The IOS 12.2(31)-SGA11(ED) for Cat 4500 with Sup II+ can fix PoE issues?

Hi, I'm having trouble with a Cat SW 4500 with a supervisory II+ and a current IOS version 12.2(31)SGA. For unknown reason one of the blades stop sending power to most of their ports (1 to 25).

A year ago happens the same issue with the same blade.

The blade was physically reset without turn off the switch, after that the blade started to provide power on those ports. I notice that they are a new IOS version: 12.2(31)-SGA11(ED).

My concern is to known if the new version can fix PoE issues?

Honestly this looks like more an hardware issue or in the linecard itself or on the specific slot: power is taken from power supplies (if I remember correctly).

The only acceptable reason to stop sending power to some ports is a reduction of available power: in that case the switch choices to remove POE from some ports may be from a single linecard.

you can check this with

show environment

if there is available POE power this behaviour is not correct.

However,  issues with a specific linecard model / IOS version cannot be excluded
