the ping is interrupting , the trace is looping , but we have internet !!!!!

hi ,

im noting unnatural problem ,

im just a user that  usign ADSL technology ,

im using    ========>  tplink router

now from my status router  , i could mention my public  ip ,  public default gateway ip , public dns ips ................etc

the issue is , im just pinging my default gateway with the resulting ping below :

C:\Users\Toshiba_C660>ping 176.58.64.1 -t

Pinging xx.xx.64.1 with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=38ms TTL=254

Request timed out.

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=41ms TTL=254

Request timed out.

Reply from zz.zz.70.37: TTL expired in transit.

Reply from zz.zz.70.37: TTL expired in transit.

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=38ms TTL=254

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=39ms TTL=254

Reply from zz.zz.70.37: TTL expired in transit.

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=37ms TTL=254

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=50ms TTL=254

Reply from xx.xx.64.1: bytes=32 time=41ms TTL=254

as you see above , there is ttl expired statement !!!!!!!!! , and replying from another ip , and there is request time out .

note that im just pinging my default gateway from BACKHAULING line and i didnt enter the internet !!!

and the ping is like above ,

wt could be the problem  , from Telco company , or from the ISP ????

now have a look at the traceroute:

C:\Users\Toshiba_C660>tracert www.cisco.com

Tracing route to e144.dscb.akamaiedge.net [2.19.16.170]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1     3 ms     6 ms    <1 ms  192.168.1.1

  2     *       26 ms     *     zz.zz.70.37

  3     *        *        *     Request timed out.

  4   236 ms   150 ms    42 ms  jj.jj.66.77

  5     *       34 ms     4 ms  jj.jj.66.77

  6    28 ms     9 ms    19 ms  jj.jj.69.17

  7     *       53 ms    52 ms  172.16.210.10

  8    39 ms    24 ms     4 ms  ae-23-23.ebr2.London1.Level3.net [4.69.148.193]

  9    59 ms     4 ms    60 ms  2.19.16.170

Trace complete.

as you see above , my default gateway (xx.xx.64.1)  was supposed to be instead of  :

zz.zz.70.37

but i didnt see my defaultgateway in the traceroute , that is in my router status ??!!!!!!!!!!!

but after all of that , i can using internet and browse without problems ,

i just want to know , who is the responsible for that , the TELCO Comapany  which suppport the hachauling to ipss , or the ISP which support the internet ????

wt does ttl expireded  mean ?

with my best regards
