Too much input error with GEC on 4507R

I configured GigabitEtherchannel (GEC) on 4507R and 2960G. After serveral days, I saw many input errors on interfaces joined GEC on 4507R but no errors on 2960G (see attach file for more information). Do we have to use the same Etherchannel load-balance method on both end of an etherchannel? If I use src-dst-mac on one end and src-dst-ip on the other end, is it ok?

I can't find out what is the reason!

Hello.

Sometimes control frames that are not understood at one end are seen as input errors.

For example DTP, STP and CDP frames. This could be your problem as I can see you have CDP, DTP and STP on the 2960 but not the 4K.

Try configuring portfast, 'switchport nonegotiate' and no cdp enable on the 2960.

The other thing to check is if the input errors increment at the same amount over the same amount of time? This would indicate the problem to be unknown control traffic then.
