true load balancing from servers

Hi all, we have the option to use LACP from the server to the switch with 2 nics, in my min this would be true load balancing both ways rather tan using the HP default of outboun load balancing. am i right in saying this? I think the server does outgoing from the server, but all traffic ges back to i from the sae port on the switch?

what are peoples thoughts

A given conversation will always flow down a single link within the etherchannel group. With etherchannel the flows are hashed between the different links in the channel group depending on how it is set whether its by source -destination ip address or source-destination mac address.
